We stopped at Woolgoola overnight on our road trip up to Queensland which was the 27th September to 9th October 2024. On the way to Woolgoola accommodation we saw a mother kangaroo with a baby in her pouch and another female kangaroo in one of the streets. Check out my video below to see the kangaroos. I also saw kangaroos on the oval next to the property we were staying at, the name of the place was “High Street Oval No.1” and “High Street Playing Fields” The next day (9th October 2024) after we left our accomodation we stopped at Woogoolga Headland and Lookout as our first stop for the day. We were lucky that it wasn’t raining as we have had amazing weather the whole time except this stop where the sun wasn’t out and it was cold, windy and raining.
