Seven Mile Beach was the one of the stops after leaving our Smiths Lake accommodation on our 7th day of our roadtrip up to Queensland. We didnt stop here long just enough time to check out the beach and grab some photos and videos, as there were other places we wanted to check out.

Be careful when travelling between December to February (summer time in Autralia) as there can be bushfires, especially in National Parks where the ground can be dry because it hasn’t rained for a few monthss and bushfires can easily start.

It is located on “The Lakes Way” at Booti Booti National Park where there is a large area for cars to park. There is no lifesaving service at this beach, so be careful where you swim because there are strong currents and unexpected large waves with shallow water in some parts and sudden drop off from cliffs and only swim out to help someone else if you are a strong swimmer; otherwise you will need rescuing as well. We also saw whales passing through, they were pretty far out from land but were easy to spot because the waters were calm.
