After leaving our accommodation at Soldiers Point, we visited Port Stephens Great Lakes Marine Park, the on-lead dog exercise area at George Reserve, and completed the Tomaree Head Summit Walk and Birubi Point Lookout. Then we drove to Seals Rocks and saw Number One Beach, on the way we saw a turtle crossing the road but in the opposite direction to us I hope he crossed safely as there were cars coming up when we passed him, from Birubi Point Lookout the road that Google directed us down to Seal Rock was very bumpy with lots of potholes, there were toilets and the car park was busy and hard to find a car spot but we were lucky that someone had just pulled out of a car spot as it was the perfect beach day. We were the only ones walking along the beach in shorts and t-shirts with runners on. We didn’t want to swim just have a look at the beach to take photos and videos because I find it’s annoying to change into bathers and get wet and then you have to get dry and once I am wet my body stays cooler and it wasn’t warm enough for me to swim it has to be 35 degrees plus, also we wanted to see the lighthouse and get to our accommodation to see a sunset. From seal rocks the lighthouse is on the same road but it is a narrow road where you can only fit one car and you can’t see if a car is coming along in the opposite direction.
