After leaving our Woolgoolga accomodation on our 2 week driving holiday exploring New South Wales, Australia we stopped at Woolgoola Headland and Lookout and Arrawarra Headland. Check out all the places we stopped at on our holiday at the end of this post, just click on the writing or the photo and it will take you to the blog post. Our next stop was Maclean Lookout in Maclean with toilet block, sheltered picnic tables and rubbish bins, and don’t forget to stop at “The Pinnacle” lookout which is just down from the other lookout on the same road.
MacLean Lookout: A Hidden Gem in Maclean, New South Wales
Nestled on the banks of the Clarence River, MacLean Lookout offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views in New South Wales. Located just a short drive from the charming town of Maclean, this lookout is a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike.

Its a short walk to the lookout with a couple of steps leading down the hill to the viewing platform. The day we visited, there wasn’t much of a view to look at because the trees had grown taller and were blocking the view.
