After short stops at Boomerang Beach, Elizabeth Beach, Seven Mile Beach and Cape Hawke Lookout on our 7th day of our road trip up to Queensland, our next stop was 2nd Head Lookout in Forster. We stopped at Second Head Reserve where you can drive right up to the lookout, with a short track going down to Pebbly Beach which has no lifesaving service. There is no camping at this location with staying and lodging in this public place is prohibited and fines apply, no camping includes sleeping in a vehicle, caravan or tent, for your own safety and the enjoyment of others it is illegal to camp or light fires in this reserve. It’s also an alcohol free area until the 23 November 2024, non compliance may result in immediate seizure and disposal of alcohol.
